The CSO Assembly is the highest advisory body of STANCe. Its strategic and institutional direction is led by the Board. The Assembly elects 2 representatives to the Board.
The members of the Board occupy Directorate positions, the roles of which are defined below. The Directors initiate the action of the Secretariat through the Director for Administration.
Based on the SEC disclosure on beneficial ownership, the decision-making powers of the Board are divided as follows:

The Secretariat serves as the executive arm of the Organization.

The Chair is vested with the responsibility to organize the actions of the Board and communicate it to the entire organization. The Chair represents (or delegates this representation to appropriate Directorates) the Organization in all official undertakings.

The Director for Administration (DA) serves as the focal person for the organization wherein Board decisions and Directorates recommendations are communicated within the organization. The DA is assisted by an Administrative Assistant who is a member of the Secretariat.

The Coalition Secretary (CS) keeps the institutional memory of the Organization through the archives of minutes and decisions under her keeping. The CS is the main conduit of The CSO Assembly and the Board. The CS communicates to the Administrative Assistant for Secretariat responses.
Coalition Secretary:
The Director for Partner Engagement (DPE) collaborates with organizations and individuals outside of the organization and keeps a healthy relationship with network partners. The DPE is also the main lobbyist of the Organization. The DPE, in collaboration with the Director for Sectoral Concerns, advances
the recruitment and feedback loop of the Organization. The DPE is assisted by the Community Mobilizer who is a member of the Secretariat.

The Director for Sectoral Concerns leads the Organization’s thrust to validate the concerns of the basic sectors (particularly women, fisherfolks and farmers in extractives communities) and together with the DA craft strategic directions responsive for intended outcomes. The DSC is assisted by two members of the Board elected by The CSO Assembly: The Representative of the North Clusters and the Representative of the South Clusters. The DSC communicates with the Community Mobilizer for Secretariat responses.

The Director for Finance-Chief Financial Officer (DF-CFO) controls the income and expenditures of the Organization. The DF-CFO consolidates the workplan of the Directorates at the beginning of the year and analyzes annual disbursements. The DF-CFO authorizes withdrawals of accounts, supervises disbursement timelines, facilitates payments of bills and procurement of supplies. The DF-CFO implements the financial management principles approved by the Board and recommends amendments to the said principles when necessary. The DF-CFO is assisted by a Financial Officer who is a member of the Secretariat.

The Director for Legal Affairs (DLA) reviews and supply recommendations to any legal agreements entered by the Organization. The DLA undertakes research and collaboration on matters that pose legal implications to the Organization.
Director for Legal Affairs:
The Director for Knowledge and Capacity Development (DCD) facilitates the drafting of relevant modules and capacity development programs for constituents and determines the methods necessary for their delivery. The DCD collects feedbacks from beneficiaries and analyzes them for enhancement of designor method. The DCD networks with various experts and academic partners. The DCD is assisted by the Information and Communication Technology Officer who is a member of the Secretariat.
